The Colorado Board of Nursing does not have an approved list of graduate programs.

The Colorado Board of Nursing requires that all APRN applicants first achieve national certification through an approved APRN licensure certification organization and exam. The Board approves APRNs for five different roles: Advanced Practice Nurse(APN), Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist(CRNA), Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), or Nurse Practitioner (NP.) APRNs are also required to choose a population focus.
